As of August 2023, Zoetis has halted the manufacture of the SARS-CoV-2 vaccination for animals, and therefore the non-domestic animal donation program. They are currently working to provide remaining vaccine doses to organizations that made requests prior to March 2023. At this time, the Ape TAG does not have alternative vaccine recommendations. With the wider availability of human vaccines, there is the possibility of their use after risk assessment.
